Today our city is being radically rebuilt. Buildings of the beginning of the 20th century that represent the cultural value of our people and have been the object of interest of foreign tourists for many decades are being demolished.

In their place, soulless "cities" are being erected - a shining example of the simple imitation of international examples. The "Star of the East" loses its historicity, its image and uniqueness in the pursuit of profit, putting on constructions that are completely alien to the people, commercially attractive, whose main task is to show the power of the government, which aims to become Europeanized and attract investors.

No, I am not against modernisation and development as one might think. I just want to call on people to preserve our heritage, our national culture and architecture, our identity that we inherited from our ancestors.

That is what I have reflected in my work.
